What put me in my genre?

Let's see. The first book I wrote was horror. I wrote that because I've always loves a bloody story lol. My dream was to write like Stephen King but when I wrote Cursed Blood, I wasn't expecting the romance part of the story which threw me off because I always said I would never write romance and now I do lol.

With my second book, Stolen Identity, it was merely by accident. I let my characters control how the story would go and they wanted to have sex lol. I wasn't about to argue with someone who was capable of murder lol. I've always been like that. I like to discover the ending just like my readers do, it keeps me motivated to write the story just to find out how it will end.

As I keep writing, I haven't been able to just pick one genre so I'm not going to fight it. I still enjoy those bloody stories so I will write another horror story. And since I enjoy sex lol like any other adult, I will keep writing erotica. Along with those two genres, I will open my mind to what ever my characters reveal to me including romance. I just finished writing a romance but its fantasy too which was inspired by a young friend of mine who asked me write a story about dragons lol. He's one of my youngest fans (he won't be reading Stolen Identity any time soon lol).

I just love to write. I hate being told what I can write and what I can't write, and so does my mind so what ever moves me will be written. Hopefully, that will expand my readership!
